Pink Top and Green Suede Heels!

(What I Wore: Blazer- The Limited, Top-Express, Skirt- Charlotte Russe, Pumps- Steve Madden "Intrude", Clutch- Aldo, Sunglasses- H&M)

I just grabbed these green suede heels from work and it was love at 1st sight! I must say that I had to practice walking in these heels before wearing them out, since I have been so spoiled with my platformed wedges lately. But these babies were worth every awkward step. I decided to pair the heels with a pink chiffon bow tie top along with a silver brooch for some extra pizzazz. I am addicted to my white blazer right now because it adds a hint of sophistication with a cosmopolitan appeal. And of course, I had to throw in my old faithful clutch that brought all of the colors together. I loved this outfit because all of the pieces, with the exception of the shoes, are at least two years old; however never worn together, so it was just like new. Hope you all enjoy!

It's Like A Tropical Forest!

(What I Wore: Top-Forever 21, Skirt- H&M(old), Jacket- Bebe(old), Handbag- Aldo, Belt,Shoes and Sunglasses-Steve Madden)

As you all know, I love to color block my outfits, so I thought it would be cute to combine the Green top, yellow skirt and orange handbag. I wanted to seperate the green and yellow with a neutral snakeskinned belt,  along with cognac wedges to tone down all of the different colors. I just came across this skirt in my closet which is  about five years old and one of my favorite pieces, because it's so bold, playful and has many different textures, so I felt compelled to remix this item!

Furthermore, a great friend discovered this  pathway that is located in the heart of Charleston's Historic District, that almost looks like a local tropical forest. It was so peaceful, rich, bold and colorful and made for a perfect cohesive location for my look of the day! Hope you all enjoyed!

Neon Green, Blue and a Splash of Pink!!

What I wore: T-shirt- Gap, Skirt- H&M, Shoes- Steve Madden, Envelope Clutch- Thrifted, Bracelets- Old, Earrings-Charlotte Russe.

I've been loving all of the neon colors that's everywhere right now. Neon was such a bold trend that originated in the 80's, and because I was just a baby, I didn't have much control over how I would rock it. Now that its back around, I decided that I would have some fun with all the bold colors.  When I came across this cute, neon green and tan color block t-shirt in the Gap, I had to have it, and not to mention, it was on sale!! I thought the combination of the tan was cool becasue it really toned the green down and pairing this color combo with blue and pink would create a funcky color block outfit.

Style Feature of the Day: Lonnie Hawkins!!!

(What he wore- BDG Cardigan, Hawkins McGill SeerSucker shorts-, BDG T-shirt-, Profound Aesthetic Wood Bead Bracelets- Urban Outfitters; Shoes- Steve Madden, Watch - Kenneth Cole)

So I recently sold a pair of my favorite winged tip shoes to this dude. Immediately, I was intrigued by his sense of style, so I had to feature him on my blog!! This is the dope outfit that this gentleman incorporated, and I must say, it blew me away, simply because it was so different and there was thought put into the addition of each and every item. I must admit, I had never seen seersucker paired with a cardigan/track jacket, but after reviewing all of the pieces and understanding a little more about the inspiration of the look, I fell in love, hope you all will also!!!
