Pink Top and Green Suede Heels!

(What I Wore: Blazer- The Limited, Top-Express, Skirt- Charlotte Russe, Pumps- Steve Madden "Intrude", Clutch- Aldo, Sunglasses- H&M)

I just grabbed these green suede heels from work and it was love at 1st sight! I must say that I had to practice walking in these heels before wearing them out, since I have been so spoiled with my platformed wedges lately. But these babies were worth every awkward step. I decided to pair the heels with a pink chiffon bow tie top along with a silver brooch for some extra pizzazz. I am addicted to my white blazer right now because it adds a hint of sophistication with a cosmopolitan appeal. And of course, I had to throw in my old faithful clutch that brought all of the colors together. I loved this outfit because all of the pieces, with the exception of the shoes, are at least two years old; however never worn together, so it was just like new. Hope you all enjoy!

A Girl's Love for Shoes!!!

Hey Guys,

I just wanted to share some of my new shoes for the spring/summer! I feel that I chose a pretty diverse selection including some sexy, party styles to everyday work styles, so hopefully I'm done for this season, but I doubt it, being that I am a manager at a huge shoe store. Which is basically a catch 22, I love the perks and getting 1st divs at all the new merchandise, but it can be torturous if your a bitch on a budget like me! Anyway, I hope you all like!

Love,
Ashley

It's Like A Tropical Forest!

(What I Wore: Top-Forever 21, Skirt- H&M(old), Jacket- Bebe(old), Handbag- Aldo, Belt,Shoes and Sunglasses-Steve Madden)

As you all know, I love to color block my outfits, so I thought it would be cute to combine the Green top, yellow skirt and orange handbag. I wanted to seperate the green and yellow with a neutral snakeskinned belt,  along with cognac wedges to tone down all of the different colors. I just came across this skirt in my closet which is  about five years old and one of my favorite pieces, because it's so bold, playful and has many different textures, so I felt compelled to remix this item!

Furthermore, a great friend discovered this  pathway that is located in the heart of Charleston's Historic District, that almost looks like a local tropical forest. It was so peaceful, rich, bold and colorful and made for a perfect cohesive location for my look of the day! Hope you all enjoyed!

My Love for Nautical Colors!!

(What I wore: The blazer and sweat-Thrifted, Pants- The Limited, Shoes- Steve Madden, Necklace and Ring Forever 21, Handbag-Gucci, Glasses- Borrowed)

I was so excited to wear this blazer and sweater vest, which was given to me by one of my aunts. She purchased this two-piece set from a local goodwill, but the tags read $299.00 from Kasper, which is a luxury brand of Jones New York. I paired the pieces with really old white slacks from The Limited along with my red suede "Traisies" from Steve Madden, to create a Nautical Color Scheme. By the way, these heels are probably the most comfortable heel I own. All of my friends know that I love, love, love a blue, yellow and red combo! I had to sport the "nerd" frames with some extra sass on the lips with red lipstick from Sephora. Hope you all enjoyed the look!

A Colorful Day at the Marina in 6'in Heels!!

(What I Wore: Top-Forever 21, Skirt-Gap, Belt and Handbag-Aldo (old), Shoes- Steve Madden)

It was a beautiful day in Charleston, so a friend and I headed downtown to the Charleston Marina! I was in a colorful mood as usual so I threw on a Royal Blue Sleeveless button down from Forever 21, paired with these fabulous Fuchsia Heels from Steve Madden called Babylonn, these are a Christian Louboutin look alike for $99 bucks and for a 6 inch heel, they really are comfortable. Normally, I would have worn a solid color bottom, but I thought the black and white stripe skirt was a great way to separate the different colors. I got the skirt from the Gap a few months ago for about $5 bucks, what a deal! Hope you all enjoyed the look!

I'm Loving these Snakeskin Skinnies!

(What I wore- Top- Express, Jeans- Gap, Booties- Gianni Bini via Dilliards, Necklace- Charlotte Russe, Clutch and Sunglass- Steve Madden)

So I grabbed these skinny jeans a few months ago from the Gap for about $14 bucks, since then I have paired them with this black top, a black blazer and royal blue button down which I will show you all at a later time. I love them because they are apart of Gap's 1969 denim collection, which stretch in all the right places and are so comfortable. I decided to cuff them at the bottom to show off the black suede booties and paired them with a classic short-sleeved button down from Express. This made for the perfect date night outfit. Well, at least I thought so. Tell me what you think!!!!

(What I'm wearing: Dress- Francesca's Closet, Shoes- Herstyle, Handbag-Aldo, Sunglasses- Steve Madden, Necklace, Belt -old)

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter Day. It was a beautiful day in Charleston, so I just wanted to spend some time outdoors, enjoying the perfect weather with my loved ones on such a special day. I was in the mood for this tribal maxi that I grabbed from Francesca's Closet a few months ago and my new Stellfox handbag from Aldo, which was a birthday gift from a dear friend.

Monochromatic Look of the Day!

(What I Wore- Dress-Willie Jay's Boutique, Sunglasses and Shoes- Steve Madden, Clutch- Aldo- Necklace and Ring- Charlotte Russe)

Normally I love playing with different pops of colors, where I will pair a totally different color with it's complimentary opposite. Today, however, I just wanted to focus on the color teal and play it up with different shades of blues and greens for a monochromatic look. I recently found this dress at a local boutique on King St. on sale and I had to grab it! The shoes were actually a Christmas gift and I had them stored in the bottom of my closet, just dying to wear them and since Spring is finally here, these babies were ready to debut!!! Hope you all are enjoying your Spring so far.

I'm Loving This Urban Gentleman!!!

After speaking to so many of my guys friends about all of the inspiring fashion blogs that I find daily, it became evident that they did not have as many blog options. The few blogs out there that are targeted toward men, aren't updated consistently or just don't really inspire.  So I thought it would be a great idea to share this amazing outfit as some inspiration for you guys out there who are craving some real fashion.

I would like to welcome my friend Lonnie back to the blog!!!

What He Wore: Hat- Hardwood Classic,Glasses -Urban Outfitters, Denim Shirt & Slacks- H&M, Bow Tie- Brook Brothers,Hoodie- BDG,Jacket- Forever 21..Shoes Loafer Steve Madden
"My inspiration was wanting to stand out with a bold mixture of Urban attire intertwined with sleek, casual pieces, as well as my love for the KNICKS!!"   -Lonnie Hawkins

Neon Green, Blue and a Splash of Pink!!

What I wore: T-shirt- Gap, Skirt- H&M, Shoes- Steve Madden, Envelope Clutch- Thrifted, Bracelets- Old, Earrings-Charlotte Russe.

I've been loving all of the neon colors that's everywhere right now. Neon was such a bold trend that originated in the 80's, and because I was just a baby, I didn't have much control over how I would rock it. Now that its back around, I decided that I would have some fun with all the bold colors.  When I came across this cute, neon green and tan color block t-shirt in the Gap, I had to have it, and not to mention, it was on sale!! I thought the combination of the tan was cool becasue it really toned the green down and pairing this color combo with blue and pink would create a funcky color block outfit.

You've Got to Love a Color Block!!!

What I Wore- Blazer-The Limited, Top and Maxi Skirt- Forever 21, Shoes-Steve Madden, Accessories- Old, Handbag- Nicole Lee via T.J. Maxx

I've always been the type of girl who was into several different colors. So I just wanted to snap a couple of shots of My Color Block version. The most exciting thing about my outfit to me, is that all of my pieces, with the exception of the shoes and handbag, are years old and this was the first time that I combined these pieces!  Hope you enjoy.
