I'm Baaaackk!!

So I know that some of you may have been wondering what in the world happened to Ashley???  Well guys, I've been so busy with my family life. My other half and I have added a new addition to our family and I have been adjusting to motherhood. My son is almost a year old and I am ready to pick up where I left off. So much as changed in the fashion game, in my life and definitely in my closet, especially since I have been struggling to shed this baby weight, womp, womp Although, I am not back to my pre-baby size, I still feel fab and I will be bringing some new looks to the blog!!!

So I introduce my baby boy Logan, to the blog:

 

 Gotta Love this lil' boy. He's so sweet, so happy and has been a huge blessing in our lives. I can't believe a year has gone by so fast.

The perfect Sneaker with a Small Heel!

I have had my eyes on these sneakers for so long now and finally got a pair by fluke accident. A customer decided that she couldn't pull them off so she returned her pair to our store. Even though the sneaks were a size too small, I had to make them work. The former pair are the Isabel Marant, which are on sale right now for $300, but if your a little more frugal, like me,just grab the Steve Madden Olympiaa for $100. These are a perfect way to add some sexiness to a casual outfit, along with blissful comfort, my feet were in heaven all day!

Aquala Chantal "The Artist"!!!!

 

Hey guys! I have recently been killing the sounds of this up and coming Charlotte Artist, Aquala Chantal "The Artist"!! She is originally from Charleston, SC so you all know I have to show some love for a fellow native! Her music is just as beautiful as she is, on the inside and out. Aquala recently sent me a copy of a few pics that were taking during a "Diamond in the Ruff" photoshoot and I had to share with you guys. The stylist Rae J. and J. Reese of Chaotic Marketing did an amazing job of capturing a beautiful, sexy, sultry look for this new artist with the combination of the red cropped tube and the black high-low skirt along with leopard heels.

Congrats to the Graduates!!

(Say Hello my Cousins, Mother, and Aunt)

I was so proud to attend the commencement ceremony for one of my youngest cousins from West Charlotte High School today! All of us are so proud of Ms. Raven as her new journey begins. She will start her college career at UNC Greensboro in the Fall 2012 to study Fashion Marketing. We love you Raven!!!

With that being said, I decided to keep it classy with a high-low skirt, floral bow-tie top, and my beloved White Blazer. I wanted to be comfortable, so I wore my 3 inch Taupe pumps from Steve Madden, along with a matching taupe bow-tie belt. It was such a wonderful day for my family and I!!

Floral Scarf and DIY Denim Vest

(What I Wore: Denim Vest- Express, Tank Top- Target, Skinnies- T.J. Maxx, Heels- Steve Madden 'Intrude', Handbag- Aldo and Ring(old), Bracelets- Boutiqued, Scarf and Necklace- F21)

Denim vests are a must have  right now, so instead of going out and purchasing a new one, I opted to make my own from a denim jacket that was stored at the bottom of my closet for years. I cut the sleeves off and viola... it made for the cutest vest! And you guys already know, I had to mix a few bold colors to complete my look for the day. I tied the look together with a floral scarf that contained  an array of each piece's color. Thought it was cute!

On the Roof Top...

I wore this outfit to work on Friday, which was perfect because it transitioned to a Girls night out look as well. The pants were the key piece to this outfit and I wanted to through in pops of color with the green top and the coral colored shoes. I thought it was cute, tell me what you think!!

Turbans-Asgstyle!

I have always had a love for scarves, because of the versatility they provide for many different outfits. I like wearing them in a more traditional way, around the neck, on a plain handbag, around my head, as a bow tie, etc. Just recently, I was inspired by the turbans the June Ambrose has been known to wear and tried the look out for myself. I fell in love! These are perfect for any bad hair day or a day when your running late(which I'm notorious for) and you just want a quick fix.
